about us - work in progress

New adventure, new website... after crafting for most of my life - scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting, sewing, needlework and dabbling in quilts, I decided to create a space to do all of the above and more.

After talking it over with my husband and daughter, consulting with building experts, like my father-in-law and brother, checking with the dogs and making sure my best girlfriends and I were on the same page for what makes a good retreat weekend, we decided to go for it and broke ground in March 2026. It was a long six months, but we welcomed our first guests in mid-October, getting some nice suggestions and feedback.

We're open for business now, and we'll always be a work in progress, as we find ways to improve your experience!
